Today I dragged my dad (a.k.a. DA – “Design Assistant”) to Scott’s Antique Market. This place is INTENSE!! It is 2 HUGE buildings, you take a shuttle back and forth between the buildings if that explains how crazy this place is, and it is slammed with the most random (mostly crap) pieces of art, toys, furniture, lighting, etc. You sort of wonder who in the world buys any of this stuff… well, me! I am the proud owner of a mantle, which I plan to hang somehow in my bedroom. It needs minor sprucing up, like changing the green dental molding… and I need to figure out how to keep the lead paint from chipping off. The corbels were taken from the old Woolrich factory in Pennsylvania! I love things that have a history and tells a story!
Dad and I on the bus… yep, this is a typical picture of him (he ALWAYS has his eyes closed)!
The new mantle… it needs some love!

You should put that Mantle in the backyard so Chris can shoot his bow at it. He told me he already put the couch out there to shoot at and he got you out there with an apple on your head.

Seriously, buy something else so you can blog it.
